Welcome to Summer Youth Program Fund - Indianapolis

The first funding collaborative dedicated to supporting summer programs

The Summer Youth Program Fund (SYPF)-Indianapolis is a funding collaborative that supports summer programs serving Marion County youth by:

  • Providing grants: We make grants to charitable organizations that serve youth during the summer.

  • Disseminating community information: SYPF partners work to connect our grantees with additional resources, and we act as advocates for summer-related youth issues.

  • National Summer Learning Day: Youth programs supported by SYPF come together for a day each summer to celebrate and bring awareness of the importance of summer learning. View a summary of the 2014 Summer Learning Day here.

Since 1995, the collaborative has contributed more than $39 million dollars in general operating and capital support to Marion County organizations that provide summertime programming.
